Lisa Kudrow Specializes in Science
Lisa Kudrow is well-known for her role as the endearing folk singer Phoebe in the hit T.V. show Friends. She has gained significant recognition with nominations at the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, and American Comedy Awards. Her initial career plans, however, had nothing to do with the entertainment biz. Passionate about research and science, she was a student at Vassar College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho-biology.
She developed an interest in acting after watching one of her brother’s friends, comedian Jon Lovitz, perform at a club. She joined the improv group The Groundlings in L.A., where she polished her comedic skills.
