New York Law forbids dogs that don’t fit into bags from being on the Subway
While New York has banned pets from the subway unless carried in a purpose-built crate or bag, this woman in the photo got creative. She put her big dog in a tote bag with cuts made to ensure that its head and legs were free to feel the air. The law is strictly enforced; however, this woman couldn’t keep away from her lovely dog, meeting the bare minimum.
The dog is wrapped in a plastic bag, comfortable with the new way of accompanying the lady on a train. It’s funny how the picture seizes the sheer excitement this dog is looking forward to on the subway.
