Pretty much like the black and white theme of the photos, the sisters chose a monochromatic appearance when they posed for Nixon’s 1989 picture session. Heather doesn’t look like she was too keen on taking the photo; in fact, she appears to have been hiding in the back.
Perhaps the photo subtly depicts how the Brown sisters were affected by the turbulent year filled with political tension as the Cold War neared its end. In the entertainment realm, it was the year that the anticipated Ghostbusters sequel hit the cinemas.
