This picture brings back that old-school nostalgia with the sisters lined up back to front. They do not stand in accordance with birth order, though, because the series has always had established spots for the sister to stand. They present a united front seeming to back Heather up with their supportive embraces. There is consistency in the order and themes within Nixon’s work.

All four of them look content with themselves, their lives, and each other. A sight we have all yearned to see as we have gotten to know these sisters more. Perhaps the summer joy of Wellfleet has gotten to them as well.
