Kim Fields is an American director and actress who is known for her pristine beauty. She was born into a filmmaking family; her mother, Chip-Fields Hurd, has been a successful director and actress, while her father was a technical director. Fields is most recognized for her work on the NBC comedy The Facts of Life as Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey.
In 1984, Fields released two songs for the Critique Records label: a disco song called “He Loves Me He Loves Me Not”, which became a club hit, and “Dear Michael,” which became an R&B hit. She is now a regular on Netflix’s The Upshaws, in which she plays Regina Upshaw.
