Jennifer Jason Leigh is a prominent American actress, writer, and producer. She made her television debut in the 1970s with the role of Stacy Hamilton in Fast Times at Ridgemont High before making appearances on the big screen.
When Leigh won the Best Supporting Actress prizes from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Boston Society of Film Critics in 1990 for her work in Last Exit to Brooklyn, it marked a critical turning point in her acting career. Leigh has since appeared in a wide range of films like Backdraft, and Short Cuts. In addition to acting in movies, Jennifer has also co-written and directed a number of movies.
