Nancy Kwan – Age 83
Ka Shen Kwan, professionally known as Nancy Kwan, was born on May 19th, 1939, in Hong Kong, to parents named Marquita Scott, a model, and Kwan Wing Hong, an architect. One of the first Asian actors to make a name for herself in Hollywood, Kwan attended the Kingsmoor School at the age of 12. At a ballet school in Manchester, she studied various styles of dance.
Nancy then attended the Royal Dance School after graduating, where she earned a certificate in ballet. Further, she received a Golden Globe Award for her outstanding performance in her first film, The World of Suzie Wong. The movie earned Kwan a ton of praise and recognition.
