Kim Novak – Age 89

Born Marilyn Pauline Novak on February 13, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, Kim Novak is a retired actress and painter. Kim began her acting career in the early 1950s and achieved enormous success. As a film and television actress, she is known for her starring roles in Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, Picnic, and The Man with the Golden Arm.

After retiring from acting in 1991, Novak turned to painting. The Kristián Award for her amazing contribution to international cinema was given to her at the 22nd Febiofest international film festival in 2015. Today, at the age of 89, Kim is still creating art and enjoying a peaceful life on a ranch in southern Oregon.

Angela Lansbury – Age 96

Born on October 16th, 1925, in Regent’s Park, Central London, to Moyna Macgill and Edgar Lansbury, Angela Lansbury is an Oscar-nominated actress. She has found greatness in numerous fields including theater, screen, and television and her longevity in the industry is a testament to her sheer talent and hard work.

Angela is an Irish-born British-American actress. She was the youngest actress to win two Academy Award nominations before turning 21 for her roles in Gaslight and The Picture of Dorian Gray. She gained subsequent fame for her role as the main character in the detective drama Murder, She Wrote. In fact, Lansbury eventually began producing the show as it grew in popularity.

Stockard Channing – Age 78

Anyone who is into classic movies, no doubt, must be familiar with Stockard Channing’s work. She is an accomplished stage, television, and film actor from the United States. Stockard starred in some of the most iconic films of all time, including Grease and The West Wing.

Further, out of 64 nominations over the duration of her career, she has won 21 accolades. Stockard was nominated for a Tony Award and an Academy Award for her work as “Ouisa Kittredge” in the stage production and movie Six Degrees of Separation. Additionally, she has appeared in the TV shows Perfect Witness and The Baby Dance and has received a Theater Hall of Fame induction.

Joy Harmon – Age 82

Former actress Joy Harmon is most well-known for her scene-stealing performance in the popular Stuart Rosenberg film Cool Hand Luke. Though her acting career was brief, Harmon has found success as a baker and businesswoman.

Groucho Marx first saw the beautifully adorned Joy, a Flushing native, as a guest on You Bet Your Life. He then encouraged her to collaborate with him on Tell It to Groucho. She made more money as a pin-up girl in the late 1960s and early 1970s with only a few television appearances to her credit, but she eventually gave up acting. Afterward, Harmon created Aunt Joy’s Cakes since baking has always been one of her passions.

Christina Pickles – Age 87

Former English actor Christina Pickles is best remembered for playing “Nurse Helen Rosenthal” in the medical drama St. Elsewhere. Her extensive collection of work in the entertainment industry spans more than five decades and includes a number of illustrious stage productions, short films, TV shows, and films.

Christina was born in England, on February 17, 1935. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London when she was 15 years old. In 1961, Pickles made her acting debut in the production of Look Back in Anger at the Arena Stage in Washington. Pickles made her big screen debut with the role of Nicole Blackstone in the 1974 Canadian-American comedy Seizure.

MARLO THOMAS – AGE 84

Can you believe that Marlo Thomas still maintains such a youthful appearance even in her 80s? What’s even more astonishing is that she remains active by running. Yes, you read that correctly – Thomas credits her fitness and beauty to her passion for running.
In addition to running, she follows a healthy diet and uses sunscreen and anti-aging cream to delay the signs of aging. Of course, Thomas has left a lasting mark through her roles in various films and her impressive collection of awards, which includes four Emmys, a Golden Globe, a Peabody Award, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which she received in 2014.
