Her father, Daniel O’Connor, spent more than 25 years working at NBC Special News as a producer, executive producer, and managing director. Lenka Peterson, her mother, was also a former theater, film, and television actor.
Glynnis has starred in many movies and TV shows over the years. She appeared on the daytime drama As the World Turns while she was in her late teens. O’Connor gradually attracted the public’s attention for the first time in the mid-1970s thanks to prominent roles in television productions of Our Town and other films like Jeremy and Those Lips, Those Eyes.
