STANLEY BAXTER – AGE 96

A series of amazing comedy programs were produced for television for over 25 years by the versatile comic actor and impressionist Stanley Baxter. His impersonations of notable actors, as well as the Pope and the Queen, exceeded all expectations. Baxter, who was born in Glasgow on May 24, 1926, is also the author of several stories that are set in the city.

Talking about some of his renowned shows include The Stanley Baxter Show and The Stanley Baxter Series. Stanley first gained recognition as a child performer on BBC Scotland.
